Nats pitcher threw extended BP, while the defense juggled and bobbled, Harper ran into a pointless out, and even back-to-back dingers seemed desultory.

- P2K, always P2K! Jordan Zimmermann (-36.1% pitching, +10.3% hitting) gets entirely too much contact, giving up 5 runs in 3 IP with 2 Ks but no walks. He did single in a second-inning run for a brief early lead (+10.3%), but he really needed to go yard there.
- Umm, that's it. So, yeah, J-Zim(n) had the highest (as a hitter) and lowest (as a pitcher) WPA of the night for Nats. There wasn't enough WPA left for Craig Stammen (-5.6%) to manage a meltdown, despite 2 ER in 0.1 IP. Heck, Ryan Zimmerman (-7.6%) and Adam LaRoche (+2.5%) going yard back-to-back in the 5th was worth all of +5.3% combined.
- CHOMP? Roger Bernadina (+0.9%) continues his dominant NLDS patience, with a second consecutive PH walk. Let's just forgot about this one. PLAYOFF GAMES IN DC!!
